Incorrect user details used as trusted connection login in SentraWeb

This can occur when Windows Explorer has been used to view files on a machine where the current user account does not have permission to access.

Issue ID : 3798

Priority : Medium

Version : V6.2

This can occur when Windows Explorer has been used to view files on a machine where the current user account does not have permission to access. Windows Explorer displays a popup to enter new user details, if the 'Remember my Password' option is selected then these details are stored, Internet Explorer also uses these stored user details. If there are saved user details for the Sentra server then they will be used rather than the actual Windows user details for logging in to SentraWeb. This behaviour is controlled by Windows and Internet Explorer and cannot be altered.

To remove any saved login details and allow the actual Windows user details to be used: Click Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts. In the advanced tab click the Manage Passwords button in the Passwords and .NET Passwords section. This will allow any stored usernames and passwords to be edited and removed.
